
Donald R. Bailey, 67, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011 at A.G. Rhodes Health and Rehab Cobb, Atlanta, Georgia, following a long illness. Mr. Bailey was born in Miami, Florida, but lived most of his lifetime in the Daytona Beach area. A 1962 graduate of Mainland High School, Mr. Bailey also graduated from the electrical training program at Daytona Beach Community College. He was an electrician and member of IBEW Local 756, as well as a prior member of the Daytona Beach Police Reserves. Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Donald R. Bailey Jr., grandson, Daniel Wines Bailey, and brother, Richard Bailey. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Bailey Robertelli; and grandson, Henry (Hank) C. Robertelli IV, both of Atlanta; brother, Virgil Bailey, Fayetteville, Georgia; and sisters, Dorothy Horn, Denver Colorado, and Shirley McClain, Daytona Beach; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Thursday evening, April 28 from 6-8pm and funeral services at 11:00am on Friday, April 29, at Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Ave, Holly Hill, Florida. Internment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Daytona Beach.
